Prerequisites
- Your app must be registered with Airbridge.
- You must have an App Store Connect account with the Admin role.
- If you run SKAN campaigns, authenticate your iOS app.
- If you don’t run SKAN campaigns, you don’t need authentication, even for apps you run on iOS. This includes apps in development and apps used for testing.
AttentionTo view iOS ad performance through SKAN in the Airbridge dashboard, you must complete App Store authentication for the app you registered with Airbridge.
Create an API key in App Store Connect
AttentionYou can download the API key only once and cannot download it again. If you lose it or cannot find the file, create a new API key.
- In App Store Connect, go to [Users and Access].
- Click the [Integrations] tab.
- In the left menu, click [App Store Connect API].
- Next to [Active], click +.
- A pop-up for creating the API key appears. Enter a name for the API key, set the access to App Manager, and click Generate. After creation, you can find the Key ID in the active list.
- Find the API key you created, and click Download API Key.
- Click Download. The file downloads. Its name starts with
AuthKey_and has the.p8extension, and this file is your Private Key.
Enter authentication details in the Airbridge dashboard
In App Store Connect, find the following authentication details:- Issuer ID
- Key ID
- Private Key
- In the Airbridge dashboard, go to [Settings]>[App Settings], open the [App Info] tab, and click Need Authentication for iOS under platforms. Or click the [App Auth] tab.
- Enter the authentication details from App Store Connect. Enter the Issuer ID and Key ID, and upload the downloaded file as the Private Key.
- After authentication, the App Authenticated tag appears in the Airbridge dashboard.
