abr.ge, the domain Airbridge provides by default. Add a custom domain to create tracking links with the domain of the service you run.
You can add up to 2 custom domains. When you create a tracking link, select which domain to use from abr.ge and the custom domains you added. For more information, see Select the domain for tracking links.
You can use a custom domain only in tracking links for custom channels, not in tracking links for integrated channels.
Prerequisites
Complete the following before you set up a custom domain.Check your custom domain permissions
Your app role determines whether you can view or set up custom domains. See the permissions per app role below.
An in-house marketer with view-only permissions cannot set up custom domains. As an exception, an agency granted additional permissions can set up custom domains.
Check the domains you own
A custom domain must consist of a subdomain and a root domain. You cannot add a domain that has only a root domain, or a domain with a path after the root domain. See the examples below.
Prepare a subdomain that is not currently in use. For example, if you use
example.com for your website but do not use go.example.com, you can add go.example.com as a custom domain. If you do not own a domain, register one first.
Check your DNS service permissions
A custom domain works only after you create a CNAME record in your Domain Name System (DNS) service. Check whether you have permission to create a CNAME record in the DNS service you use. If you cannot create it yourself, arrange the schedule with your DNS service administrator in advance.Set up custom domains
Add a custom domain to use it in tracking links for custom channels. Set the domain you added as the primary domain to have it selected by default when you create a tracking link.Add custom domains
You can add up to 2 custom domains in Airbridge. Custom domains with the Pending status count toward this limit.- Go to [Tracking Link]>[Custom Domain] in the Airbridge dashboard and click Add custom domain.
- Enter the information for the domain you want to use as a custom domain and click Add.
- Copy the Name and Value shown for the custom domain you added, and create a CNAME record in your DNS service. You can ask your DNS service administrator to create the CNAME record. It can take up to 72 hours for the CNAME record to be applied to your DNS service. After it is applied, adding the custom domain can take up to 10 more minutes to complete.
If the status remains [Pending] 72 hours after you create the CNAME record, click Refresh status. Even if the status does not change, you can use the custom domain once the CNAME record is applied to your DNS service.

Set the primary domain
The primary domain is the domain used in tracking links for custom channels. In the domain list in [Tracking Link]>[Custom Domain], click the star icon () to set that domain as the primary domain. If you do not set a primary domain, abr.ge becomes the primary domain. You can set a custom domain you added as the primary domain, and change it to another domain at any time.
Select the domain for tracking links
In the Airbridge dashboard, go to [Tracking Link]>[Link Generation] and open the [Custom Channels] tab to select which domain to use when you create a tracking link for custom channels. The domain list appears in the step where you create the [Short Link ID], and the primary domain set in [Tracking Link]>[Custom Domain] is selected by default.
If you have not added a custom domain, go to [Tracking Link]>[Custom Domain] from the domain list to add one.
Custom domains with the Pending status do not appear in the domain list. Once the status changes to Available, you can use the domain in tracking links.
A tracking link keeps the domain selected at creation. For more information, see Set the primary domain.
Precautions
Custom domains work only in tracking links for custom channels. Tracking links for integrated channels useabr.ge. If the domain in the URL must match the domain of the service you run, as with Naver Search Ad, use a custom domain.
