Understanding Deep Links

By configuring deep linking features to Airbridge tracking links, you can send users to specific in-app locations. Continue reading to learn about the essential functions of deep links and the deep link types supported by Airbridge.

Deep links send users to specific in-app locations when the user has already installed the app. Users who don't have installed the app at the time of the ad click are sent to the app store page. Once this user installs the app and launches the app for the first time, the user sees the app home.

Deferred deep links also send users to specific in-app locations when the user has already installed the app. Users who don't have the app installed on their devices at the time of the ad click are sent to the app store page first. Once this user installs the app and launches the app for the first time, the user is sent to the specific in-app location.
