Channel Integration - Amazon Ads

Connect Airbridge to Amazon Ads to measure ad performance across Amazon's ecosystem, including Amazon.com, Prime Video, and Twitch, and optimize your Amazon Ads campaigns with Airbridge events.

Channel Integration

Register the integration credentials in the Airbridge dashboard and map in-app events to send to Amazon Ads via postback.

Prerequisites

Before you begin the integration setup, complete the following.

  1. Install the Airbridge SDK in your app.

  2. Create an account in Amazon Ads. You will receive an Advertiser ID required for channel integration.

  3. Register your app in Amazon Developers. You will receive an ASIN, the unique product code. The ASIN is optional for running ads or completing the integration.

Integration setup

Once you've completed the prerequisites, follow these steps to integrate Amazon Ads in Airbridge.

  1. In the Airbridge dashboard, go to [Integration]>[Ad Channel Integration] and select Amazon Ads.

  2. Under [Integration Setup], enter your Amazon Advertiser ID. The Advertiser ID is the advertiser credential for your Amazon Ads account. Select "Amazon DSP" in Amazon Ads and check it under [Campaign Manager]>[Advertisers].

  3. If you registered your app in Amazon Developers, enter the ASIN under [Integration Setup]. The ASIN is a unique code assigned to all products sold and distributed on Amazon. Find the 10-digit code after /dp/ in the Amazon Appstore URL for the app or content to advertise. The ASIN is optional for running ads or completing the integration.

In-App Event Postback

Configure in-app event postback to send events collected by Airbridge to Amazon Ads and optimize your Amazon Ads campaigns.

Attention

If you're using the Restricted Airbridge SDK, events will not be sent to Amazon Ads via postback.

Default Event Mapping

Once you complete the integration setup, the following default events are automatically mapped and sent to Amazon Ads via postback. Note that Deeplink Open (App) and Deeplink Pageview (App) events are mapped to “OTHER”, which is one of Amazon Ads' event classifications.

Additional Event Mapping

You can send additional in-app events for campaign optimization. Map Airbridge events to the corresponding Amazon Ads event names.

Click Add to create a new event mapping. Select an Airbridge event first, then select an Amazon Ads event. You can map different Airbridge events to the same Amazon Ads event. At least one event mapping is required to save.

Use presets to quickly map frequently used Airbridge events to Amazon Ads events. When you select an Airbridge event with a “Preset” tag, the corresponding Amazon Ads event is automatically mapped. You can change the preset mapping by selecting a different Amazon Ads event. The tag will change to “Preset Off”, and you can restore the original mapping by clicking the "Reset to preset" button on the right.

After mapping events, click Save to start sending event postbacks. You can modify event mappings anytime by clicking Edit. Click on any mapped Airbridge event or Amazon Ads event to change it to a different event. You can also delete a mapping by clicking the minus button on the right.
