SAN Integration - TikTok For Business

    Airbridge supports integration with TikTok For Business. With the integration, you can measure the performance of your TikTok For Business campaigns and send in-app events collected by Airbridge to TikTok For Business for campaign optimization.

    Note

    Select "Sub-Publisher" as GroupBy or filter to view the performance of Pangle ads in the Airbridge reports.

    Advanced SAN Integration

    Airbridge supports advanced SAN integration with TikTok For Business. With this integration, you can use the SAN API and Airbridge tracking links to measure your TikTok campaigns. Deferred deep links are also supported.

    • Using the SAN API: Collect data and measure campaign performance based on the users who agreed to provide user identifiers on the advertiser's and ad channel's apps.

    • Using Airbridge tracking links: Collect data and measure campaign performance based on the users who did not agree to provide user identifiers.

    Set up GroupBy as Touchpoint Generation Type and the filter as Channel is TikTok to create a report view that shows the TikTok campaign data by how it has been collected and measured.

    Note

    In line with the change in TikTok For Business policies, you can no longer use Airbridge tracking links to track TikTok For Business campaigns, effective April 2025. Data collected through existing tracking links will remain unaffected.

    Channel Integration

    Follow the steps below to set up the integration between Airbridge and TikTok For Business.

    Creating an App in the TikTok Ads Manager

    If you have already created an app, you can skip this section and continue with the next step.

    1. Sign in to your TikTok For Business account.

    2. In the TikTok Ads Manager dashboard, navigate to [Tools]>[Events].

    3. Click Connect data source in the upper left corner, and in the dialog box that appears, select App. Then click Next.

    4. In [Download URL], enter the app store URL for each operating system. If the URL is valid, the app icon, name, and ID will appear, and the Next button will be enabled. Confirm the app details shown and click Next.

    5. While keeping the TikTok Ads Manager dashboard open, navigate in the Airbridge dashboard to [Integration]>[Ad Channel Integration]>[TikTok For Business], and copy the subdomain from [Subdomain].

    6. Return to the TikTok Ads Manager dashboard, go to [Connect to a mobile measurement partner], and select Airbridge. Then, in [Find and insert correct tracking URL], paste the subdomain copied from the Airbridge dashboard.

    7. Click Confirm, and your app will be created. You will see the TikTok Ad ID and the in-app event list. To see all in-app events, select All App Events from the drop-down list. Click Done to complete the process and view the app info.

    8. If you want to change the app store URL or the tracking links, click Edit. If you have an Android app and an iOS app, you have to create an app respectively for both apps.

    Registering the TikTok App ID with Airbridge

    The TikTok App ID is a unique ID generated in the TikTok Ads Manager. When you register your TikTok App ID with Airbridge and Airbridge sends a postback to TikTok For Business, your ownership of the app will be confirmed, and the “Verified” badge will appear next to the app name in your TikTok Ads Manager.

    1. Navigate to [Tools]>[Events] and click Manage under “App Event.” Select your app from the app list.

    2. Click Copy TikTok App ID. If you have both an Android app and an iOS app, you need to copy the TikTok App ID of both apps.

    3. In the Airbridge dashboard, navigate to [Integrations]>[Ad Channel Integration] and select TikTok.

    4. On the [Channel Integration] page, switch on the [Enable channel integration] toggle.

    5. Paste the TikTok App IDs into the respective fields and click Submit. Click Add if you want to add more than 1 TikTok App ID for a single OS. Once the IDs are verified, Airbridge will be connected with the apps that are linked with the TikTok App ID added.

    Postback setup

    Configure the postback settings in the [Channel Integration] tab to send Airbridge events to TikTok For Business. The Airbridge events sent to TikTok Ads Manager are reported as TikTok events in the TikTok Ads Manager as per mapping configured in the TikTok event mapping list. Through postbacks, you can enrich your data in TikTok Ads Manager and drive insights to optimize your campaigns and create new target audiences. 

    In-app event postback setup

    When switching on the [In-app Postback] toggle on the [Channel Integration] page, the event mapping table between Airbridge and TikTok event will appear. Click Edit to add, modify, or delete events.

    Some Airbridge events have [Preset] tags. When selecting such an Airbridge event, a TikTok event will be automatically mapped with the event based on a preset mapping rule. Some of such TikTok events can be used for app event optimization.

    The postback settings in the [Postback] tab is the same as the postback settings in the [Channel Integration] tab. The postbacks are used for Advanced SAN integration of TikTok For Business.

    Attribution rule setup

    Select the [Attribution Rules] tab to configure the attribution rules, including the lookback window and attribution window. Click Go to edit page to edit the settings.
