# Apply a Promotion Code to Your Core Plan

You apply an Airbridge promotion code when you add a payment method to your organization. This guide explains where to enter the code and how to use a code you received before you signed up.

## Promotion codes

A promotion code, sometimes called a coupon code, is a code that Airbridge issues to discount your Core Plan subscription. For the Core Plan monthly fee and billing period, see the Airbridge Plans, Plan Limit, and Payment guide.

Keep the following in mind before you start:

* You need the Admin or Manager organization role to access **\[Plan & Usage]** and apply a promotion code.
* Each code can be used once. A code that has already been applied cannot be applied again.
* A promotion code applies to the organization, not to a single app or member.

## Apply a promotion code

Enter your promotion code while you add your payment method, so the discount applies from the moment your Core Plan subscription starts.

1. Go to **\[Organization Settings]>\[Plan & Usage]** in the Airbridge dashboard.
2. In the **\[Current plan]** tab, find Payment method and click **Add payment method**.
3. In the **\[Payment Details]** form, enter your card details and your email address.
4. In **\[Promotion code]**, paste the code you received. This field is optional, and you can start your subscription without it.
5. Select the Electronic Payment Terms and Conditions checkbox, and then click **Submit**.

If your code isn't accepted, follow the instructions in the error message. If that doesn't resolve it, contact the Airbridge Help Center.

  When your free trial is ending, Airbridge reminds you to add a payment card. Clicking **Add payment card** in that reminder opens the same **Payment Details** form, so you can enter your promotion code there as well.

## Apply a code you received before signing up

If Airbridge gave you a promotion code before you had an account, keep the code until you add your payment method. Sign-up doesn't ask for it.

1. Sign up for Airbridge and create your organization. Your 30-day Core Plan free trial starts on the day you create the organization.
2. Add your app and start measuring during the free trial. You don't need the code for this step.
3. Before the free trial ends, add your payment method and enter the code as described in Apply a promotion code.

  If you don't add a payment method before your free trial ends, your organization loses access to the Airbridge dashboard.
