# Data Fetching Guide for Cordova-Ionic

## Overview

There is no Javascript API for Cordova-Ionic that allows you to directly fetch iOS and Android data for constructing Airbridge Events.

Therefore, you have to follow the steps outlined in the `iOS Guide` and `Android Guide`. Collect data in each platform, and then use Cordova-Ionic’s iOS and Android Fetch API to get the data. Read on and learn how it is done.
