# DeepLink - FAQ - Creating Tracking Links

## Understanding Tracking Links

<Accordion title="Does the tracking link collect events created by bots?">
  No. Airbridge tracking links don't collect events whose User Agent (`browser.userAgent`) contains the following strings:

  * "Slackbot", "datagnionbot", "PhantomJS", "LinkedInBot", "Googlebot", "AdsBot", "bingbot", "YandexBot", "YandexMobileBot", "BLEXBot", "PaperLiBot", "Twitterbot", "TelegramBot"
  * "Java/": used for Android SMS previews.
  * "GoogleImageProxy", "WhatsApp", "Yeti/", "AhrefsBot", "AhrefsSiteAudit", "Applebot", "PetalBot", "Pinterestbot", "Semanticbot", "SemrushBot", "SiteAuditBot", "SiteScoreBot", "SurdotlyBot", "Cincraw", "PTST/"
  * "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0": used for Samsung SMS previews.

## Creating Tracking Links in the Airbridge Dashboard

  <Accordion title="What happens to existing tracking links if I stop using Airbridge?">
    When your Airbridge contract ends, the tracking links you created can no longer be used.

  <Accordion title="Can I reuse a short link ID I've used before?">
    Yes. Because a short link ID reflects the tracking link's settings, such as redirection and data collection, grouping by short link ID in reports can split the data for the same ID into before and after the reuse. The tracking link that previously used the short link ID also operates according to the new tracking link's settings.

## Creating Tracking Links Using the Generator Template in Bulk

  <Accordion title="An error occurs when I click [Generate Tracking Links].">
    An error message appears when you click **\[Generate Tracking Links]** without entering the App Name and Tracking Link API Token in **\[Required info]**. Make sure these two values match the app name and Tracking Link API Token found in **\[Settings]>\[Tokens]** in the Airbridge dashboard.

  <Accordion title="I want to delete a parameter column I don't use.">
    If you delete a column in the Generator Template, tracking links can't be generated properly. If you have many unused columns, we recommend hiding them with **\[Hide columns]**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I want to change parameter values in [Change parameters].">
    You can't enter values in the gray cells in **\[Change parameters]**. To enter a new parameter value, first delete the existing tracking link in **\[Create Tracking Links]**, then create it again with the new value. The change is then reflected automatically in **\[Change parameters]**.
